Your Questions Answered . . .

Personal Trainer In Epsom

Do I need to be a member of a gym?

Absolutely not, I am able to train at a local park, at work or even come to your home. I have a whole array of effective portable training equipment that I am able to bring to you, compact enough to be used in all spaces.

However, if you are a member of David Lloyd Fitness Club in Kingston, I can train you here. If you are in the Kingston area, but not a member, I can offer a day guest pass for you at just £6 per person, allowing you to have your session, and enjoy the other facilities on offer after, including spa, sauna, steam room and pool.

Do I already have to be quite fit?

Absoultely not, my sessions are designed for all levels of fitness, in fact you will benefit so much from having a Personal Trainer right from the day you decide to take up exercise and improve your body and fitness.

I've never had a Personal Trainer, and don't know what to expect?

Your first step that you take will be your free Initial Fitness Consultation, usually lasting around one hour. This is an informal meeting, giving you the chance to tell us about your goals, a little background about your general health, and will also involve a few basic health and fitness tests.
Once you have had your initial consultation, you are then ready to commence your regular one hour training sessions. The nature of these will obviously vary depending on your own personal goals, but one thing you can be sure of is that they will be progressive, fun and give great results.

How long before I start to see results?

Typically for those of you who are more motivated, and stick to a weekly plan that I give, you will start to see changes in your body shape and tone within anything from 6-8 weeks, to 6 months for your longer term goals. You will feel more energised from week 1 onwards! Most of my clients see the training as a long term commitment, whilst enjoying the pressure taken off them in having ready made workouts and nutritional advice on hand.

How many sessions should I be having?

Ok, this depends on your own personal goal, and your motivation. My more motivated clients may only see me once or twice a week, whilst following a tailored plan in their own time. One of the biggest reasons for people turning to a Personal Trainer is for motivation, so if this is your reason, then you may like more sessions to help out.

When can I see you?

My training hours are very flexible, and I try to work around your lifestyle. Generally I am available from Mon - Fri, 6 a.m to 8 p.m, and Sat & Sun, 8.am - 12.
